Well, this is it my friends. The signs were there, but they've made it official: on December 17th, Tumblr will shut down all blogs and creations that are NSFW. I wish it didn't come to this, but due to the staff's incompetence, things have gotten out of control for them to manage. I guess this is their final solution. And yes, pun intended. And yes I just insinuated that Tumblr is a bunch of Nazis. IDGAF.

Still, I can't say that I'm not going to miss Tumblr. I've made so many friends there, and the resources I've accessed through the site helped make me a better artist. I loved interacting with fellow artists and I've even had encouraging messages saying that people loved my art. I don't really draw for the validation, but to connect with people who love seeing the type of art I like. And to be fair, Tumblr was a great platform for that. The site was stupid; updates broke it more than it fixed things, the unchecked moderation of porn bot and CP blogs that spread like cancer, it singlehadedly growing a community of sheltered hiveminded individuals that screamed racisim or sexist at everything and everything. But dammit, if it wasn't for that site, I wouldn't have met so many great people. And for that, i thank it.

So long Tumblr. It's been a hell of a ride, but it's over now.
